OTHER TOOLS
Here is a cost estimate worksheet to estimate costs per precinct based on the options you choose. At a minimum, confirmed bipartisan volunteers are required. You should strongly consider redundant methods of preserving the count by: 1) scanning each ballot before the batch count to preserve the ballot images in real-time; or 2) mounting a cell phone over the ballots to capture each ballot image as it is counted. It isn’t necessary, but a computer may help ensure the cell phone video captures a clear image of the ballots and/or provides a live feed of the count.
